I found Godmachine’s work a while ago. The amount of detail he puts into every piece is just amazing. He is based in Wales and he handprints quite a few of his own posters.
I think his clever use of lighting is what I love most…

Favourite Artist: Rob Ryan
I first saw Rob Ryan’s work when he had an installation at the ‘Pick Me Up‘ exhibition last year. He is most instantly recognisable for his incredibly detailed papercuts. His simple style, often combined with thought-provoking statements (‘Savour this day’, ‘Other planets cannot be this beautiful’) combine to create charming pieces which often make me smile when I see them.
Derren Brown – astonishing man and amazing artist!
I have loved the mindcraft of Derren Brown for many years and secretly wished I could learn some of his techniques. So after reading his brilliant book decided to visit his website one day in the hope of reading more.
To say I was gobsmacked by what I found would be an understatement. This man surely cannot be allowed to have such talents with a paintbrush AND with mind control, its positively dangerous to the rest of mankind!
