Mind-maps. Some of you reading this will probably turn off straight away.
DON”T GO!
Have you ever made a list of things to do but find it hard to know where to start? Tasks inter-relate with other things to do and soon you have spidery-lines all over your lovely clean work and the next thing you add is ‘Rewrite list on clean paper’…
I had heard of mind-maps but frankly, they made me shudder. Until I found an amazing FREE app for my Mac.

The latest version of Mac OSX (10.6) includes the app store on your desktop… Simply open it up, search for ‘Mindnode’ and then download.
I really won’t need to tell you any more about how to use it, as its completely intuitive…

Just click, drag and type. Creates clean, bright, easily customisable mind-maps simply and quickly.

I’ve found it really useful, particularly when trying to work out my favourite influential artists and how they relate to each other.
You can read more about Mindmaps and Mindnode here. You can buy the enhanced version too, but I found the free version does everything I need.

Top Tip Wendy. I love MindNode too!
Got some monster brain-dumps done in MindNode and they are great printed on a large format printer. Perfect for project planning.
Another great free tool that I use a lot is ‘Evernote’. check it out.

Hi Tim
Its great isn’t it? If I have way too much going on, I know I can put it all into Mind-Node and feel so much calmer!
Keep me updated when your site goes live!
