Hi! I’m Wendy Stephens and I’m a freelance graphic designer + creative artist who works from my studio in Hertfordshire, with clients across the UK and worldwide.

With over 15 years experience in graphic design & illustration, I founded Dark Iris Design in 2009, using the knowledge and expertise I gained while working for several creative design agencies.

Whilst studying I worked at a litho printers to learn about the print industry.

Graphic designer for a newspaper, then a design agency. (7 years)

Worked on behalf of clients including Whittards of Chelsea, Fortnum & Mason.

Went freelance in 2005.

Worked on behalf of clients including Budgens, Londis, CACHE, Red Bull, Diageo.

Opened Dark Iris Design in 2009.

Still going strong. Clients have included BBC, Specsavers and local councils.
